Cancellations & Refunds

At Home Serenity, we want you to feel confident when placing an order with us. This policy outlines how cancellations, returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged items, and related issues are handled. Our goal is to keep the process clear, fair, and easy to understand.

Order Cancellations

Before an Order Ships

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

If your order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method. Once an order has already been processed for shipment or has left the warehouse, it may no longer be eligible for cancellation.

After an Order Ships

Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled as a pre-shipment cancellation. If you no longer want the item after it has shipped, the order may fall under our return policy instead, subject to product eligibility, return approval, return shipping costs, and any applicable restocking fees.

Returns & Refunds

Customers may request a return within 30 calendar days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must generally be:

  • unused

  • unopened

  • in their original packaging

  • in resellable condition

Some items may be subject to product-specific return conditions. Where applicable, those terms should be stated on the product page.

Approved returns may be subject to the following:

  • the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated on the product page

  • a 25% restocking fee may apply unless otherwise stated on the product page

  • refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received and inspected

  • once approved, refund processing may take up to 3 business days

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at checkout.

Submitting a return request within 30 days does not automatically guarantee approval. Returned items must still meet the return conditions outlined in this policy and any product-specific terms listed on the product page.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange a product, please contact us at customer.support@homeserenityco.com so we can review the situation and advise you on the next steps.

Exchanges are generally handled for eligible items within 30 calendar days of delivery, subject to product condition and approval. To qualify for an exchange, the item usually must be unused, unopened, and returned in its original packaging unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Please note:

  • the customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the original item and, unless otherwise stated, any shipping costs related to the replacement item

  • exchange requests are subject to product availability

  • if the requested replacement item is unavailable, we may offer an alternative resolution where appropriate

  • if an exchanged item has a price difference, additional charges or partial refunds may apply depending on the circumstances

If your exchange request relates to damage, shipping error, or receipt of an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the issue and assist appropriately.

Shipping Information

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery timelines vary depending on the product and destination, but most orders are delivered within 2–7 business days after shipment within the continental United States.

Estimated shipping timelines may also appear on product pages. These timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Please note that delays caused by carriers, weather, supply chain issues, address problems, or other factors outside our control may occasionally affect delivery times.

Delivery Inspections & Damage Claims

Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery.

If your item arrives with visible damage, note the damage when signing for delivery and email customer.support@homeserenityco.com within 24 hours. To help us review and process the issue, please include:

  • photos of the packaging

  • photos of the product damage

  • the SKU or product name

  • a brief description of the issue

For freight deliveries, any visible damage, punctures, shortages, or other delivery-related issues should be reported within 24 hours of delivery to support a shipping or freight claim.

Failure to report visible shipping damage within the required timeframe may affect our ability to assist with the claim.

Warranty

Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and by product. Please review the product page for any warranty details that apply to your purchase.

Warranty claims generally apply to issues that arise during normal use over time and are separate from shipping damage claims. If an item arrives damaged, that issue should be reported promptly under the damage claim process rather than treated as a warranty matter.

If an item arrives with damage and the issue is not reported within the required reporting period, it may not qualify for warranty or shipping-claim consideration.

Return Conditions

By placing an order with Home Serenity, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • returned items may need to be unused, unopened, and in original packaging

  • the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated on the product page

  • restocking fees may apply depending on the product, manufacturer, or return circumstances

  • orders that have already shipped may no longer be eligible for full cancellation

  • return and refund requests must generally be made within 30 calendar days of delivery

  • products with manufacturer-specific return terms may be subject to additional or different conditions stated on the product page

We reserve the right to deny returns or refunds that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy or the terms stated on the applicable product page.

BOGO Promotions

If an order includes a buy-one-get-one promotion, both items must generally be returned in order to qualify for a full refund.

If only one item is returned, the customer may instead receive a replacement for that item or store credit based on the value of the returned item, subject to the specific terms of the promotion.

If the order has already shipped, return shipping charges and any applicable restocking fees may still apply.

Any approved refund will be issued back to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Chargebacks

If there is an issue with your order, we ask that you contact us first at customer.support@homeserenityco.com so we can work toward a resolution.

We are committed to helping customers resolve legitimate order, delivery, and product concerns as efficiently and fairly as possible. In many cases, we can address concerns more quickly through direct communication than through a payment dispute.

Unauthorized, abusive, or fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed using relevant order records, shipment records, tracking information, and prior communication history.
